We’re committed to building a culture of consistent, intentional practice at Learn Music.
The Kaizen Club exists to help our students grow as a musician by developing discipline, resilience, and a deeper connection to their craft. The club is all about small, steady improvements—just like the meaning of Kaizen: continuous growth over time.
About The Kaizen Club
-
Each month, you'll work towards a specific practice goal and track your progress. Complete a level in one month, and you’ll earn a patch! Once you collect all 6 patches, you will become an alumnus of the Kaizen Club.
-
Download a copy of The Kaizen Club Booklet (or ask your instructor for one). It has all of the information needed to begin leveling up. To become a member, all you have to do is start! At the beginning of any month, check the practice goals for your age group and start tracking your practice - it’s that easy.
-
After earning your first patch and completing Level 1, you receive a Kaizen Practice Journal. After earning 3 patches and completing 3 levels, you earn a Kaizen Club tote bag.
Upon graduation (completing all 6 levels), you earn a limited edition Kaizen Club hoodie to display your patches and a certificate!

At Learn Music, we define practice as focused time spent working on assignments given by your instructor. There’s a difference between structured and unstructured practice - casually noodling on your instrument is fun, but real progress comes from being intentional. Note that weekly lesson time and musical activities outside of Learn Music do not count towards your practice time total.
“Our children have been taking lessons at Learn Music since 2020 in both voice and guitar. They have learned so much over the years and it has been so amazing to see them grow in their talent, skills, stage presence, and confidence each week. We love how they have an opportunity to perform a few times a year at Learn Music Lives around town to show off their hard work and it keeps them motivated to want to learn and grow. Thank you Learn Music and teachers.”
