Elie holds a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts with a minor in Music from Gardner-Webb University. Her musical journey began at the age of 10, when she started taking voice lessons and participating in productions at her local theater. Since then, she has performed in countless recitals, concerts, plays, movies, and musical productions. Her most notable achievement was the opportunity to perform a solo of The Little Mermaid’s "Part of Your World" at Carnegie Hall.
When she’s not teaching, Elie enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves reading, writing, and exploring new parts of the Charlotte area. Songwriting and learning to play guitar are her newest endeavors, along with leading worship at her church.
Her passion for teaching is renewed daily by her students. Witnessing their unique personalities and relationships with music makes every new discovery a joy. Seeing her students get excited about what they’re learning is her favorite part of teaching. She feels honored to have the opportunity to foster a genuine love for music in each one of her students.
